DUMMY PICKUP COIL is designed to be wired with an existing magnetic single coil guitar pickup. Its purpose is to remove 50-60Hz cycle hum / buzz associated with single coil pickups. Mini humbucker bobbin wound counterclockwise (CCW) 7kΩ DC resistance (unless otherwise specified) Black lead = coil start White lead = coil finish Coil wrapped with black paper pickup tape  Dimensions: 64.7 × 12.5 × 9.6 mm PVC hookup wires, 30 mm long When wired in series with single coil pickup it will darken the tone by taking away some of the high freq.- wired in parallel it will increase the high freq. – both types of connections will ensure noiseless operation. Some difference between the dummy coil and pickups DC resistance results in a slightly brighter sound with more character.
