Vintage correct replica of the 1964 Fender Mustang pickups. Transitional 1964 Mustang pickups were wound slightly hotter – at approx. 6kOhm – giving them some extra bite and character. True vintage classic from Q pickups custom shop. Flat Alnico V sand cast magnets hand wound with AWG 42 HEAVY FORMVAR wire black top and grey bottom vulcanized fiberboard flatwork cloth covered push back hookup wire wax potted Scatter wound, fully charged magnets. R.W.R.P. – hum canceling when both pickups are active. Screws and vintage style tubing are included with each pickup.
