Inspired by Mr. Van Halen´s “Frankenstrat” guitar. Humbucker bridge pickup. Eddies`s humbucker bridge pickup was mounted directly to the wood/body of the guitar. To install this pickup to the wood you will have to re-drill the mounting holes on the baseplate so they can accept wood screws. We can do that for you – you can leave a note at the checkout page or send us a message. – black BUTYRATE bobbins with 49,2mm spacing. The pickup has to be installed at a slight angle to compensate for the differing string spacings of the Fender tremolo and the PAF spaced humbucker(49,2mm). – LONG legs on the nickel silver base plate. These “legs” are too long to fit in a regular strat bridge pickup cavity. Total height of this pickup with LONG legs is approx. 27mm.
