Description 17¾” quality Black printed Light Maple chess board produced by quality chess artisans, Rechapados Ferrer S.A. of Spain. Contemporary design and a high grade veneer construction, using modern fabrication techniques has produced a board with clean lines and critical detailing. The contrasting black squares with the extra light Maple is simply seductive and a beautifully veneered grey wood base adds the finishing touch. Perfect for accompanying with chess piece king heights of 3¼” inches. This chess board has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.
